We are a 55 acre rolling hills farm in the Northeastern corner of Alabama, in a cove, surrounded by mountains and water, Lake Guntersville. After 14 years in Hawaii, we left in search of an ideal place to live and raise our family of four young boys. We traveled for about a year, from Oregon to the Florida Keys before settling in Alabama.

Alpaca Fiber Dyeing and Carding
Discover the basics of fiber dyeing using items found in your kitchen, food coloring and your microwave. You will learn the basic techniques of this dyeing process with hands on experiences. Each participant will receive undyed alpaca fiber to dye and take home after being taught the carding process. You will be given the opportunity to add embelishments to your carded project.

In the first part of the class you will learn the basic techniques of punch felting, two and three dimensional projects for you to keep. You will ge given all the supplies needed to complete your projects.
The second part of the class will be turning ordinary bars of soap into an exfoilation work of art to take home. All materials will be provided.
