You will enjoy a morning lecture with presentations that will cover female reproduction, reproductive anatomy and physiology, breeding and pregnancy diagnosis options, gestational development, care of the pregnant dam, normal and abnormal care of a newborn, the "high-risk" cria, and much more!
The afternoon is hands-on "wet-lab", using uterine simulators, will challenge participants to diagnose the contents of the uterus, discuss a proposed delivery plan, and to identify and correct dystocias to deliver the cria safely. Invaluable emergency training, and a lot of fun!
A course book covering additional topics will be provided to all participants.
