Welcome!
My Sweet Alpaca is a 55 acre, rolling hills ranch with a quaint old home and barn. We are located in the North Eastern corner of Alabama, between Guntersville and Scottsboro, about 30 miles from the Georgia and Tennessee borders in the small town of Langston. We are in a cove, surrounded by mountains and water, near the Tennessee River and Lake Guntersville. Our little town is quiet enough that the American Bald Eagle calls Langston, Alabama home!
We strive to improve our fleece quality by focusing on fineness, density, and crimp through careful
breeding, freshly made alpaca feed and mineral supplements.
Our goal is to breed our 'Hemingway's Ernesto' female crias with our half Accoyo Dracula son,
'Go Boy'. Our aim is that we will have superior animals that combine the ultra fine fleece of
Hemingway with the ultra dense fleece of Dracula.
We will continue to learn as much as we can about the alpaca business and open our hearts and
minds to others interested in these fantastic animals.
Give us a call or stop by our ranch and 'Let's Talk Alpaca!' and find out why this is a great business
opportunity.
